PAL - Physical Activity Log
Welcome to your PAL (physical activity log)! This section of the website is dedicated to assisting you in finding out how active you currently are and how much more you need to do for health benefits.
You will be asked to do a short and simple survey on your current physical activity. The results will tell you if you are active enough for health benefits based on Health Canada’s Physical Activity Guidelines.
You can then use your PAL to set up and track your own personalized physical activity program. Your PAL will convert all of your activity choices into light, moderate or vigorous activities. It will then combine all of these choices to let you know if you are planning enough physical activity for health benefits! By entering what you ‘actually’ do, your PAL will let you know if you are keeping on track with what you had planned.
This section of the web site also provides you with physical activity and fitness education through our “Fitness Support Topic” area. There you will find articles and tips on physical activity trends, information and education.
