Vision Healthier Manitobans through regular physical activity.
Mission In motion is a provincial strategy to help all Manitobans make physical activity part of their daily lives for health and enjoyment. The provincial government has joined with community partners in physical activity, health, healthy eating, recreation, sport and education to raise activity levels and reduce barriers to physical activity. In motion activities focus on children, youth, adults, older adults and families in community, school and workplace settings.
Goals To increase physical activity in Manitoba by 10% by the year 2010 and by 20% by the year 2015.
